After one month, no complaints.
I never used the software disc included with the merchandise, opting instead for drivers resident in my iMac's ten.6.5 OS. Setup was painless and that i was printing 0.5 an hour out of the box...not bad for somebody technically challenged.
Printing docs and envelopes has been a breeze. For cold starts, it takes a second or 2 in addition up, except for my desires, time is rarely of the essence. Today, I printed my 1st 4x6 snapshot using iPhoto. The image quality was alittle boring, however acceptable. For serious prints, i'm going to WalMart or to a lab.
I've sent out faxes with no issues...haven't had to receive any nonetheless thus I cannot investigate incoming. i am still using the provided USB cable thus I actually have no wireless experiences to share.
It looks alittle thirsty however I imagine the OEM carts are most likely light-weight. i will wait till i take advantage of the aftermarket high capability ones to guage ink consumption. i am not an important user, thus i do not see this being an enormous issue (for me).
The footprint is huge compared to alternative printers in it's worth vary. they are all regarding seventeen or eighteen inches wide, however the depth on this one will eat up additional desktop then i might like.
Judging from the negative reviews of comparable HPs (I bought this to interchange a good HP 1210 that finally died once seven years of dependable use) i might say that for a street worth of around $70 greenbacks, i am doing ok. i might advocate this printer to anyone who has an occasional want for an all in one.

how do i connect to the office computer from my wireless lap top? I have the external ip address?
I've done it with another office computer. I am trying to connect to the server. I have the static IP.
If you are on the office LAN, set up home and small office networking. If you are outside, you will need to VPN in using the server's IP and the same VPN as the server. Or if you have access to the server you can use RealVNC, PC Anywhere, Go2MyPC, or Remote Desktop etc.
