what type/brand of GPS system does UPS use?
I am trying to find the top GPS navigation tool, for my new company that is like UPS, and I really would like to know what they are using because I know this is what makes them very successful.
so does UPS even use a GPS system at all???
For businesses like UPS what type of GPS navigational tools do they use, or recommend??
Where they do use GPS, it is most likely "industrial" GPS from companies sch as Delorme, Garmin, or Magellan.
From what I have seen of tracking though it is based on bar code scanning and huge computer systems that track where (what facility) it has been scanned, not where particular packages are in transit, beyond being marked as "in transit".
