In the UK, we might grumble or complain about a wasp infestation or mole problem in our garden but actually we get off pretty lightly compared to people in North America. How can i make a fingerprint based security system using micro controller?
i am working on that project. on internet i have not found any kind of support. all websites related to this are either paid or just giving some information.
any one having source code of programming or any other stuff related to it..kindly post.
I'm not sure you fully understand the complexity of this.
The mathematical processing involved really demands that you use a computer to develop the algorithms you will use to process the fingerprint images. The best way to do this would be in a high-level maths-oriented language like Matlab. There is matlab code for fingerprint recognition out there already, just google it.
You are going to have to learn some pretty fancy mathematics, like Gabor filtering:

Once you have a working algorithm you could then potentially integrate it into a microcontroller or DSP chip, but to do that you will need to convert the routines you have written in your high-level language into a language that can be compiled into the machine language of the chip, probably c.
And that's before you have even thought about how you are going to image the fingerprint, interface the camera to the micro, encode the images...
Basically, unless you have thousand of pounds / dollars to spend and you can spare a year or two to work on it, don't even think about it.
The above is the reason there is no free source code available. If you had done all that work, would you give it away for free?
