what should i think about when buying an extra tom drum for a drum kit?
i am going to buy a Ludwig element 6 piece wrap series drum kit but i'm thinking about getting an extra 14" rack tom. I won't be able to get one from the same series or possibly even from the same company so what should i think about when getting an extra drum? e.g. type of wood, depth, etc...
i added a tom to my kit, there's not much you need to worry about. i got an additional 13" Mapex for my Tama... so i have

all you'll need are clamps and another tom, finding a singular tom is the hardest part about the whole thing. IT'S ALL IN THE TUNING, you can make any tom sound however you want.
Clamp/tom arm goes on cymbal stand (or whatever stand) and that's it! really easy
