I want to run a HDMI cable up a wall, across a false ceiling then down to a wall mounted HD ready LCD television in the centre of my wall prior to I get the home plastered (new create and I dont want cables running everywhere) as well as a HDMI Wall plate will make it a tidy job.
I want a 6metre HDMI cable but wondered is it achievable to obtain a HDMI cable that has a removable port on 1 end so i can push the cable up the conduit and along to the Tv. The ends of the HDMI cable seem a bit bulky to do it any other way.
You can possibly run the cable down the other side of the wall and just drill by means of to the Tv , then fill the hole in afterwards.
