any cruise line deny to board because you do not have on e of the port country's visa?

We are going to have cruise next month. Cayman Islands asking a visa from us.(Turkish citizens) But I did not find the best answer when you travel with cruise. We will stay 8 hours in the Cayman Islands. Also is it possible to cruise line deny us to board or not if we will not have visa for one of the port country? Anybody have any experience to deny due to visa?

YES the cruise line WILL DENY you boarding if you do not have required visas. I know this from the experience of my last cruise this past March. Our cruise departed from Santiago, Chile (Valparazio was the port city) and the cruise line denied boarding to about 100 passengers who showed up at the pier and did not have a Visa for Brazil which was the last port stop. All 100 of those people had to go through one of those Visa services that does all of the paperwork and hand carried it to the appropriate offices. Some of those people did join the cruise at the next port stop but they all had to not only pay a higher price for getting the Visa but also the cost of extra lodging and plane fairs to the next port city.

Now the only way your situation is different from your situation is you do not really have to get off the ship in the Caymans while all 100 of the people on my cruise did have to get off in Brazil. I do know that the cruise lines will not help you with this and they simply say get the required Visas and leave it up to you to find out what you need and get it. So my advice is go online to the Cayman Islands' web site and find out what is required to make your application for visa. You probably have enough time to get it, especially if you use a Visa service.
