my laptop is hp pavilion dv1658us, i hav a IEEE 1394 Bus host controller installed .i want 2 use d firewire card to connect my sony camcorder to it.how can i connect this card its a chip set i dont know wheather 2 install it inside d laptop or can connect it through a cable.
You need to take that card back to either Best Buy, Circuit City, or CompUSA, and get your money back. Anyone who doesn't know that PCI cards have never worked with laptops, which have been around for more than 20 years now, shouldn't even be ALLOWED to sell computer parts.
