why cant i sign on to msn messenger to instant msg friends?
use to be able to but recently when i try to sign in it tells me check password or register with msn network passport and when i try to do that it tells me page cannot be displayed

Could be the cache of your Internet browser. Clear the cache and try again. Could be they blocked your IP for any number of reasons. Could be the port that MSN Messenger uses to communicate through has been blocked by your firewall or virus software. Could be the software needs to be uninstalled, reboot the system and reinstall. It could be the BIOS on the mother board is jamming the ports or causing a redirect of ports. Maybe a program or hardware item you've recently added to the system has interfered with MSN Messenger functions. Maybe something around a hundred various "could bes" could be the problem.
