Nortel Networks Phone?
A friend of mine gifted me a Nortel Networks Meridian Phone M3902. I really like it..but, am not sure how to connect it and if I can use it at home? I was going through the instruction manual and it talks about a "network administrator'. Any ideas? Thoughts...?
The best phone we've ever owned and we still use it today is a 1997 Nortel unit that has voice mail, CID announce, and a whole raft of features that we never use, just the CID lady and voice mail system on our residence line.
An M3902 is designed to work on a PBX system, notably a LARGE PBX made by Nortel (Option 11, option 61 etc). However, what do you like about the phone? This one is nice in that it's line powered, but alas, no voice mail.
