HID vs Projector? Which is brighter, which last longer?
What would I be better going with, a full HID conversion kit for my 2002 Acura RSX or buy Halo Projector Lights? Which would be brighter, and would it be possible to put XEON HID bulbs in the projectors? but the main question is which would be brightest for visibility? THANKS@
HID conversion would be best for either application. If money is not an issue, then you can get the projector lights and upgrade it with an HID kit. Projector lights would be better suited for HID lights because they have a sharper cutoff. However, reflector lights also have a pretty good cutoff. Read more from the link:

Either conversion would lead to an immense increase in light output. It would be much brighter than what you have now. Brightness and visibility would be the same for both applications. There may be issues with getting the right colour lights for the projectors though, as I have heard of customers with issues on brightness when incorrect colour bulbs are used.
