What's wrong with my HP Laserjet 4200?

I have a HP Laserjet 4200 that has worked perfectly up until recently. I use it over my network by means of the internal print server card (HP JetDirect 615n). When I tried to print a few days ago, I got no response from the printer. I rebooted it a few times and also made sure it was nothing wrong with the
printing system (I ran an engine test).
The one thing I did notice was that neither of the "activity" lights on the print server were lit. I tried different cables, different connections, whatever I could think of. Also, I bought another JetDirect card and it doesn't work either.

I'm out of solutions and need your help!

In the menus there is an option to "print configuration page"
Print this, it will tell you if there is a "jetdirect card" installed correctly and what IP address it's on.
If it's on address 0.0.0.0 you have a problem with the config.
Assuming it HAS an address go to a PC, open a command box (Start / Run CMD in XP) type
PING xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx entering the IP Address in place of the xxxs
If it fails you have a networking issue.
If it works, check printer driver properties, under PORTS, expande teh port name to see what IP the printer driver is printing to, needs to matchthe printer.
If cable to printer connects to a wall socket also check cabling at the hub,.
If stil no luck, send me a message through Yahoo and I'll dig up the 4200 service manual . . . not worked on one for a while, but they're easy beasts
