Hdl Ldl - High Density Lipoproteins and Low Density Lipoproteins
There are different types of blood cholesterol and not every one of those threatens human health. The two major category of cholesterol are Low Density Lipoprotein commonly called as LDL and the High Density Lipoprotein, HDL.
Low-density lipoprotein (or LDL) cholesterol is considered as a bad type of cholesterol because it causes serious problems like clogging the blood vessels and it controls the flow of the blood, which increases the chances of heart disease. High-density lipoprotein (or HDL) cholesterol on the other side is a good type of cholesterol which helps in eliminating the LDL cholesterol from the blood and thus it reduces the risk for heart disease. A healthy range for LDL according to the American Medical Association is 100 or less, with 100 to 130 being slightly elevated.
A healthy range for HDL according to the American Medical Association is 60 or above, with 40 to 59 being considered slightly low.
As you can see LDL HDL healthy ranges are about a 2 LDLs for every 1 HDL ratio. Anything above this ratio will likely place you in the at risk category.

How do you know if a metal has a high or a low density?
Confused.
So if copper has a density of copper is 8.96, what does that mean? is it a high density? Does it depend on how big the bit of copper is??
Metals typically have relatively high density. Density is mass/volume, so to put into simple terms, density of a particular object tells you how much mass is packed into a unit of volume. So for copper, its density is 8.96g/cm^3, which means that a block of copper with a volume of 1 cm^3 will weigh 8.96 grams. Density of an element is always the same, it does not depend on how big of a piece you have.
Well, whether copper has high or low density depends on what you compare it to. Compared to water (density of 1g/cm^3), copper has high density. But some metals, such as gold and lead, have higher densities.
