i want to update my router bcuz the current one is really bad which one should i buy PLZ READ THR DETAILS?
i have 1 computer that is attached with a cable through a router and i have 4 laptops and one pc running internet through wireless connection and i also have a ps3 and a psp that runs on the wireless connection, i know that is a hell of connection that is the reason why i need a good router, i was planning to buy a N router, i have a list can u tell me if i can do that following things on each of them, my list of router :--

With the arrival of the N standard, all your new N routers should be able to run in three different modes:
Legacy (only 802.11a, and b/g)
Mixed (802.11a, b/g, and n)
Greenfield (only 802.11n) - maximum performance
You want the Mixed mode that would allow for your g connections. Make sure the router you plan to buy supports mixed mode.
Also, upgrading to an N router won't help you at all if all your equipment is running G. You are better off sticking with your existing G router.
Let's examine what a good fix for you should be:
1) If you are having trouble with some many computers accessing the internet at once you should try upgrading your internet connection.
2) If you really do need better performance from your wireless device then you'll have to upgrade your PCs and laptops to N in order to take advantage of the extra speed. Obviously your ps3 will not be able to goto N, but it doesn't need it.
