How do I set the IP address on a Konica 7020?
We just got this digital copier at our workplace, and it has the fax and printer controllers added on. I believe the printer board is the K-421, if that helps any of you out with an answer for me. I have tried going into pretty much every menu I could think of, and have looked over the mass amounts of manuals that konicaminolta.com had on their site for this machine and the printer board. Any help at all would be greatly apreciated. I think I could handle setting up the computer side of things, it's just getting to the correct menu on the copier seems almost impossible. We are running Vista, but the konica site says that it is compatible, so I shouldn't have any problems after the IP is set on the machine.
NOTE: this is not a new copier, we bought this used from a place in Florida but their tech person is in South America right now and we wanted to get this solved ASAP
Since it is a new unit, get in touch with the sales person. Make them come and do the set up and teach you how. That should be part of the installation. Konica would not be at all pleased with them for not doing it if you called the support center. You can call and they will walk you through the procedure. Used to require a different installation disk for networked systems for full functionality.
