The first thing that strikes you about Ethernet over Copper (EoC) is that it is an option that provides a cost saving solution and in addition allows for quicker implementation. Whats wrong with my ethernet cable?
I dont know whats wrong with my router...maybe its just the cable but anyway:
I set up my wireless router for the first time in a while and everything was working fine for about a day and a half, and then it just stopped working. Im convinced that it is the cable im using because it is an ethernet cable but it only has 4 wires going into the rj45 connecter. Even though this happens, the internet works fine when i connect my cable modem directly to my comuter.
Whats going on here?
Before you pulling your hair out, try this:
do a system restore, I assume you are using windows xp, start,all programs, accessories, system tools and finally system restore, pick a date that your internet was working good.
if does not work, uninstall and reinstall your router again.
