Sme’S And Large Enterprises In Need Of Business Broadband
Whether you are a large multinational company or a small to medium enterprise (SME) you can take advantage of the resources and tools available via the internet. The internet has been a revolution to all and as we all become more internet savvy we can make the most of our new found skills to help grow or stabilise our companies. This is something that can be done by purchasing a business broadband deal for your company.
Before choosing any package for your company you will want to analyse the pros and cons. If you consider the information that is available on the internet it would be foolish to assume that your competitors are not taking advantage of it. Information on buying trends and market developments can all be found online so even if you have a specific team set up to target trends there is plenty of information and data available that will help them identify potential ways of improving.
The internet is a powerful tool that should be used however big or small your company is. If you are just starting out then you can use a business broadband deal to help create and maintain a website that can include details of your service and any offers you have out. For this consider the upload speeds offered by the provider as they can vary as can the download speeds which you are probably more aware of.
Some small companies may think that having a broadband package similar to the one we have at home is sufficient enough for our businesses but this is not true. The added benefits from having a business broadband package including security will help you protect the information that is held on your systems. Failure to keep information such as the personal details of employees and customers is against the law and could lead to some serious problems. It will also reflect badly upon your company and brand.
If you and others are on the go for the majority of the time then it is also worth getting mobile business broadband that allows you to be contactable and in touch with your clients and the office at all times. The dongle that you will receive means you simply plug this in to the laptop and you will have internet access. So if you are en route to an important meeting but an email for a different client needs urgent attention then you can see to it with no hassle whatsoever.
Mobile business broadband can be included on any business broadband deal so make sure you know your options before opting for any deal.

I can't get full 50MB broadband speed using any version of Windows?
I have tried all versions of Windows on my Compaq CQ10 101SA Netbook, and I cannot download (or even come close) to my 50MB Virgin Media Broadband speed. However if I install Linux (which I cannot really use) I get full speed 50MB BB.
I download using Supernews newsgroup server so I should always get full speed (which was usually the case with my Desktop) again when I use Linux I can get full speed over Wifi or Wired.
Is it a limitatition of Windows on netbooks? I have installed Windows 7 Starter and Windows XP for netbook (both never helped), I have also installed Windows 7 Enterprise. Still no help. I barely get 20MB.
Anyone have any ideas. I have tried TCP OPTIMISER, and it didn't help either.
It happens all the time, wether on battery or AC Power, wired or wireless, it gets on my nerves now to be honest.
But as soon as I put Linux on ( Live Dvd/Install) it works at full 50MB.
Thanks for the answers so far.
It may be a power saving thing, does it only happen when on battery?
Maybe it's putting the download on virtual memory rather than actual memory as well.
I don't thing there's this sort of limitation in Windows, but I wouldn't be surprised.
