How can I uninstall a graphic card from a Dell Desktop and install it onto a Dell Laptop?

The graphic card is Intel Extreme Graphics, and the laptop is a Dell Inspiron, with onboard graphics, but no graphic card originally installed.

How can I go about doing this?

In this particular case i can tell you that You cant remove it from your desktop to your laptop

Why?

1)The desktop graphics card is also an onboard one (Intel extreme graphics)

2)Even if you bought a separate graphics card your laptop does not have a graphics card slot for one
(The ones that do cost about £1000+ / $1600+ )

3)Generally laptops that do have graphics cards that are not onboard still require the Laptop version like 9600M compared to the normal version for desktops which is 9600GT (without the M )

So im afraid that you are stuck with what you have on the laptop

Next time you get one make sure you look for a good graphics card on it above all other specs, as RAM , hdd space can be changed easily but you'll almost always be stuck with the graphics card it came with.
