What Does the Exam Module Board Decision of "First Sit Offered" Mean?
Hi,
I applied for Extenuating Circumstances before my exams at university because of legitimate problems I was encountering. I received a reply from the Exam Module Board with their decision of: First Sit Offered.
It might be useful to add that this module has 2 assessments:
An assignment weighing 40% of the module (which I failed 25/100)
and An Exam weighing 60% of the module (result unknown, but I feel very good about the exam)
I am unclear on the boards decision of "First Sit" and any reply would be helpful.

You still need help with this? If so, it depends on the country you reside in and your exam board.
In England, "first sit offered" loosely means that retakes are not accepted as part of your offer. Hence one would have to achieve the required pass rate on his/her first sitting - if they were to fail, the exam board would not accept a retake, even at a higher grade.
