help, does anyone know where to download the latest driver for Texas Instrument Cardbus PCI1420?
I have just fixed an old Sharp DJ20 Desktop PC
It uses PCMCIA cards, just like notebooks.
The DJ20 is very old, so it uses Windows ME.
Ihave upgraded it to Windows XP, however, it seems I am unable to use PCMCIA devices. It seems it only supports 16 bit cards.
However PCMCIA works fine with any cards in WinME.
There are no exclamation marks in the device manager, and everything looks normal.
I suppose this is a problem with the driver, the driver that came with Windows XP is dated way back in 2001.
It uses the Texas Instrument Cardbus PCI-1420.
I looked everywhere but was unable to find the updated driver. I called Sharp, but they were no help at all.
can anyone tell me where to download the latest drivers, or compatiable drivers? I need to use the PCMCIA so I can have WiFi access!!! Thanks!!!
Texas Instrument Cardbus PCI-1420 Driver should be available from Windows Update. Allow it to scan system and check for hardware driver updates.
