How Dangerous/Is it okay to use a laptop that the grounding prong broke off of?
My little sister broke the grounding plug for our laptop. It isn't stuck in anything, we have the prong. Of course it is very dangerous. Theres a reason why its there in the first place. If it wasn't of any value, why would they put it there? I would highly recommend you purchase a new charger as soon as possible or do not use the charger until then. You risk damaging your laptop and causing a fire.
